Schweizer Skischule Savognin, Version: 1.1
This English translation is provided for informational purposes only. In case of discrepancies, the original German version is legally binding.
The SSS is an enterprise offering services in the field of mountain sports. These services include, in particular, snow sports instruction, the operation of a children's ski area, and other services.
These General Terms and Conditions govern the legal relationship between the SSS and its customers. The version valid at the time of contract conclusion shall apply.
By using services of the SSS, the customer accepts these General Terms and Conditions.
The contract is concluded once a service has been paid for or a reservation has been confirmed by the SSS. Bookings, reservations, and confirmations may be made electronically, by telephone, or in person.
In any case, the contract is deemed concluded when the services of the SSS are used.
The SSS reserves the right to refuse the conclusion of a contract without stating a reason.
The SSS expressly reserves the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions, brochures, flyers, service descriptions, prices, and other conditions at any time.
Changes after contract conclusion are permitted if they are objectively justified, proportionate, and reasonable for the customer. In the event of significant changes to the service, the customer has the right to withdraw from the contract.
All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF). For payments in other currencies, the exchange rate of the payment service provider on the respective day applies.
The customer accepts the prices valid at the time of contract conclusion.
In the case of late payment, the SSS is entitled to refuse its services and withdraw from the contract without compensation. Costs arising from the delay in payment shall be borne by the customer.
A contract may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the booked service.
In the case of cancellations later than that, no-shows, or early termination of participation, there is no entitlement to a refund.
Any service that has been started will be charged in full.
As a gesture of goodwill, the SSS may issue voluntary credits. These are granted without legal obligation and do not establish further claims.
In principle, lessons are held in all weather conditions. The SSS reserves the right to modify, cancel, or interrupt the programme or specific services after contract conclusion or during the activity if natural conditions, weather, force majeure, official orders, or other unforeseen circumstances (e.g. safety risks) require it.
Group lessons generally take place with a minimum of four participants. If a group falls below this number or if organisational requirements demand it, the SSS reserves the right to merge groups, shorten courses, or cancel them in exceptional cases.
Due to organisational flexibility, changes of instructor are uncommon but possible.
The use of lifts in the SSS children's ski area is included during booked lessons. Use of all other lift facilities is not included.
The SSS processes personal data as part of contract execution in compliance with applicable data protection laws. The SSS privacy policy is available on the website and forms part of these GTC.
For participants in the children's ski race, the following data is published in the ranking list on our website: first name, last name, and race time. To opt out, send an email to: info@skischule-savognin.ch.
The SSS ensures proper instruction and contractual service delivery. Any defects must be reported in writing immediately; otherwise, claims are forfeited.
Liability for indirect damages and consequential damages (e.g. loss of profit) is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
No liability is accepted if a contract cannot be fulfilled due to force majeure, natural events, strikes, unforeseen governmental restrictions, or other unforeseeable or unpreventable events. In such cases, no refund will be given for unused services.
The SSS excludes liability, to the extent legally permissible, for accidents, damage, or theft. Participation in snow sports activities is at the participant's own risk. Customers are responsible for taking out appropriate insurance (accident, liability).
The SSS accepts no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or quality of the information provided. Claims for material or immaterial damages resulting from the use or non-use of the provided information, or from incorrect or incomplete content, are excluded, unless there is proven intent or gross negligence on the part of the SSS.
Without express consent from the SSS, rights and obligations under a contract with the SSS may not be transferred to another person.
All intellectual property rights relating to SSS products and services remain the property of the SSS.
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the municipality of Surses.
